SkyRank is a leaderboard application powered by the Newsky API. It aggregates data from Newsky to create dynamic and engaging leaderboards. It's designed to allow you to track your progress and compare yourself against other pilots.
Newsky API: SkyRank uses the Newsky API to retrieve pilot statistics. This API is provided by Newsky and is responsible for gathering the data.
Leaderboard Update Frequency: Leaderboards are updated once per day.
Newsky Login: To be able to check your VA's stats and leaderboards in SkyRank, you need to login using your Newsky account. This will grant SkyRank access to your Newsky account, allowing us to access your pilot and VA's stats correctly.
Data Sources: SkyRank primarily relies on data provided by Newsky API. SkyRank collects and updates a snapshot of the VA metrics once per day to reuse on the next requests.
Existing Newsky Account: You must have an existing Newsky account to use SkyRank. If you don't have one, you can create one at Newsky.
SkyRank features monthly leaderboards (Most Flights Flown, Most Distance Flown, Most Hours Flown) for each Virtual Airliner you're in.
SkyRank initially developed by Joana Alice and mantained by it's Community❤️. It uses the Newsky API developed by Robson Mi.
